David McSavage
The creator and driving spirit behind the cult hit The Savage Eye — an IFTA-nominated series that rewrote the rules for Irish comedy — McSavage turned what could’ve been familiar TV sketches into a razor-sharp mirror held up to society. Reviewers have praised him as “an excellent satirist”, calling his style fearless and uniquely outside the mainstream.
His work also crosses into film — from a role as a bishop in Calvary to a memorable turn as William Hall in The Man Who Invented Christmas.
